Hi, I’m Gemma, the founder/owner and Managing Director of Mini wAVe Experience.  First and foremost, I'm a mum.  I have two daughters and a lovely stepdaughter. My husband is Rob (who you see around a lot in classes-the tea boy!) and I am a primary school teacher with over 14 years experience. 

 

I am passionate about Early Years and Primary Education.  Mini wAVe Experience started out running community classes, however over the years, we've branched out and are now widely within the Education Sector - working across many Nurseries delivering sessions involving music and movement, storytelling with art and even yoga!  We run some class specials through the holidays and offer tutoring both in school settings and after school tutoring within Medway.  

 

COMMUNITY CLASSES: When my first daughter was born as well as previously, I suffered a lot with my mental health and going to classes was a really difficult experience for me.  Although I made some really fantastic mum friends, I wanted to bring something that little bit different to the table, not only to support others with mental health and anxiety, but also just a fresh class, and with my experience and dedication I knew I could do just that.  We started in October 2019 with just one stay and play in Bexley, then we just grew and grew and now have varying classes throughout South East London and Medway, Kent and now we even have a small team of staff!  I couldn't have done this without the support of my family and friends and most importantly, you, the customers. 

 

Thank you for your continued support,  we appreciate our regular customers who many have become friends but also welcome new faces. We are not clicky groups and everyone is made to feel welcome, relaxed and SAFE.
